Doom legends PENTAGRAM have issued the following update from guitarist Victor Griffin regarding his tenure in the band:

"Tonight at The Fillmore in Silver Spring, MD will be my last live appearance with Pentagram in the US, and my last UK/European live appearances with Pentagram on our Relentless tour this October / November. Of course the future is always uncertain... but for now, it's time to move on with my new band's album and tour plans for 2013.

Thanks to Bobby, Greg, Sean Saley, Pellet, Klaus Koschel, Metal Blade Records, Svarte Records, Albert Born, Gary Isom, and most importantly... YOU FANS!, for keeping the wheels turning faster and louder than any other time in the band's history!

I wish the very best to the band and a prosperous future. Thanks again to all you fans for your amazing support... hope to see you soon!"

Pentagram will be playing their classic debut, Relentless (originally self-titled), in its entirety for the first time since the early 1980’s. According to a band update: "We will also be playing other beloved songs spanning the whole catalog including songs from our latest album, Last Rites.
