VAN HALEN Members Talk About 35th Anniversary Of Debut In Audio Interview

VAN HALEN guitarist/songwriter Eddie Van Halen, big brother drummer Alex Van Halen, lead singer/lyricist David Lee Roth, and ex-bass player/backing vocalist Michael Anthony are guests on Redbeard's In The Studio talking about the 35th anniversary of their legendary self-titled debut which was released in February 10, 1978. Recorded in 1977 with producer Ted Templeman, Van Halen sold over ten million copies in the US alone, becoming one of the most successful debuts by a rock band, according to Wikipedia. Over time the album has also achieved massive sales in Canada (400,000), Germany (250,000) and the UK and France (both 100,000). The album cover was shot at the Whisky A Go Go.
