Purple Pyramid (a subsidiary of Cleopatra Records) will release THE PROG COLLECTIVE, a massive and unique project that features the biggest names in the progressive music genre, in a 2LP vinyl set this February 12th.

The Prog Collective was released last year. Seven original songs written and produced by Billy Sherwood (YES, TOTO, CIRCA, etc.) were performed by an international cast of luminaries from the prog and rock communities.

The luminaries he enlisted to perform the original songs on The Prog Collective include: John Wetton (ASIA), Tony Levin (KING CRIMSON), Jerry Goodman (MAHAVISHNU ORCHESTRA), Richard Page (MR. MISTER), Geoff Downes (Yes/Asia), Alan Parsons (ALAN PARSONS PROJECT), Chris Squire (Yes), Rick Wakeman (Yes), Gary Green (GENTLE GIANT), Annie Haslam (RENAISSANCE), Steve Hillage (GONG), John Wesley (PORCUPINE TREE), Tony Kaye (Yes), Colin Moulding (XTC) and more. On 'The Technical Divide', Squire, Parsons, and David Sancious (BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN, STANLEY CLARKE, PETER GABRIEL) are featured.
