SCORPIONS' Rudolf Schenker Speaks At Forum One Leadership Event In Lithuania; Video

The SCORPIONS' Rudolf Schenker, born in 1948 in Sarstedt, Germany, is actually a qualified high voltage electrician. He soon decided that in the future, he would only do things that he really enjoyed. Things like playing the guitar. He made his life's dream a reality. The little boy from the backwaters of Lower Saxony really did become a rock star who has sold almost 100 million records worldwide and who founded the most successful German rock band of all time.
Rudolf says that if you want to make a change for the better, you will always have to start out by making a conscious decision and this is what frightens most people.
Few years ago together with Lars Amend - a music journalist and bestselling author - Rudolf put his entire story in a book Rock Your Life. In the book Rudolf describes how he came to adopt this "enjoy what you are doing" maxim, why it works and how you too, can make it your motto in life. While the book includes a wealth of exciting anecdotes from the 40-year history of his band Scorpions, the message that Rudolf would like to get across is that happiness and fulfillment are not the goal, but the path you choose to walk.
Schenker spoke about his illustrious career at the Forum One leadership event for Business Leader and Manager which took place on June 1–2 in Kaunas, Lithuania.
