In the first hour of the show, Týr frontman Heri Joensen discusses the band’s new album Valkyryja, which features lyrics and melodies which can be traced back through the folkore of their native Faroe Islands to the era of the Vikings. Heri cosses songs from the album, and talks about working with LEAVES' EYES vocalist Liv Kristine on the track 'The Lay Of Our Love'.
Also in the first hour, House Of Lords frontman James Christian drops in to talk about his new solo album Lay It On Me.
In part 2, Stampede frontman Reuben Archer (ex-Lautrec, Wild Horses, Lionheart) discusses the writing and recording of his new solo album Personal Sin, which features guest appearances from members of SAXON, Y&T; and THUNDER.
And finally, blues rocker Jonny Lang talks about his first album in six years, Fight For My Soul, and picks tracks from the new release.
