ANATHEMA's Daniel Cardoso Launches THE DC; Video Teaser Posted

ANATHEMA's multi-instrumentalist Daniel Cardoso is going solo with The DC. A brand new video teaser of his new solo venture, filmed at the famed Paramount Recording Studios in Hollywood, CA can be viewed below:
Cardoso plays all the instruments, as seen on the video and as he did on his 2006 release with HEAD CONTROL SYSTEM (with Norwegian artist Kristoffer Rygg from ULVER) however this time making a leap into the singing department himself.

Zisis Petkanas of Greece's Rock Overdose caught up with Anathema's Vincent Cavanagh a few hours before the band's recent acoustic live shows in Athens and Thessaloniki.
Cavanagh revealed that Anathema are ready to enter the studio in December. More specifically he said: "We are preparing to enter the studio after we finish this tour. We have a lot of new ideas and we just have to choose which songs we'll prepare for the album. We have, I would say 60-70% ready! In December we'll start recording for about three weeks, and after a break for Christmas we will continue by the end of January and finish mixing on February. We are ready and quite willing to make a step forward", and continued saying that "If everything goes well the album would be released in May 2014."
