BLOOD EAGLE - the new Copenhagen, Denmark-based death/grind act featuring past and present members of VOLBEAT, MNEMIC, HATESPHERE, RAUNCHY, and ILLDISPOSED - have released a second video, this time for the track 'Death Sub Zero'.

Says the band: "Since our songs are not up yet, for free download, we thought it would be good to promote our brand new band with another video clip. We've seen the positive feedback we received for our short punk-death-grind-ish video for 'Kill Your Tyrants', and we thought why not go down that road again. We know some of you have already heard this song at our Facebook page, but many still haven't and therefore why not also show it while we are at it. More is coming and heading your way, and we promise to have some Christmas presents as well!"

Blood Eagle previously released their video for the track 'Kill Your Tyrants', stating: "Here is our first music video and third song to be made public! As you can see and hear, its straight to the point. The song it self is more punk-ish than the rest of our material, and thats only because we wont stick to just one template when writing music - but we will ALWAYS make sure to include some grind for you!"

When the band posted their track 'Serpent Thoughts', they revealed: "We thought it was about time to share some more music, and give you a better perception of our style. This one is our heavy ballsy balled, entitled 'Serpent Thoughts', recorded at the AntFarm Studios with Tue Madsen."

The band name fits the band's Scandinavian roots and sound rather well. The meaning... the "Blood Eagle" was a method of torture and execution in Nordic mythology, performed by cutting the ribs of the victim by the spine, breaking the ribs so they resembled blood-stained wings, and pulling the lungs out through the wounds in the victim's back.
