CHILDREN OF BODOM frontman Alexi Laiho has checked in with the following update on his official Facebook page:

"So yes, here I am on Facebook believe it or not. I'm still kinda learning how to do this friggin' thing so please bear with me. Anyhow, whats new? We started rehearsals with COB today and it was awesome to get back together and crank out metal after two months break. We will be flying to Canada next Thursday where we finally start the North American tour, which I'm fuckin' stoked about. I'll see you guys soon!! More videos will follow next week my friends, so stay tuned. 'Til then...keep 'em horns up!"

The band will make their triumphant return to North America this February. The band has announced a six-week major market headlining tour that will kick off on February 14th in Quebec City, QC and hit 32 cities across The US and Canada before wrapping with a two night stand at NYC's Irving Plaza on March 28th and 29th.

The entire band will be on hand for an in-store signing session at Steve's Music (Queen St. W.) in Toronto, ON on Sunday, February 16th from 3 - 4 PM (approx.). First come, first served.

The upcoming tour will feature support from DEATH ANGEL and TÝR, and represents COB's first Stateside headlining tour since the release of the band's new LP, Halo Of Blood.
