May 13, 2014, 10 years ago
First music video for the new Heavy Glow album was released today and features Hollywood star Mayra Leal in “Look What You’re Doing To Me”. The video was directed and edited by Dallas-based Nate Bernard (The Watcher, 8 Days, ESPN) who is influenced by Alfred Hitchcock, Quentin Tarantino and of course Robert Rodriguez.
The video is narrative and has some sequences and use of blood spatter fans of the TV series Dexter will appreciate. Mayra Leal's sexy screen presence is riveting from start to finish and imbues the song with a darkly alternate meaning.
Southern California fans can tune in to see bass player Joe Brooks promote the record on NBC San Diego program, SoundDiego, May 14th. The new album, Pearls & Swine And Everything Fine, was recorded with producer team Michael Patterson and Nic Jodoin.
