January 30, 2007, 17 years ago
In a recent interview with The Hairball John Radio Show, vocalist Paul Shortino (ROUGH CUTT/QUIET RIOT) recalls the early years of Rough Cutt and working with RONNIE JAMES DIO as well as many aspects of his illustrious career. Including his latest project entitled THE SIDE FX which also features YNGWIE MALMSTEEN drummer Patrick Johansson. The interview with Shortino also features a brand new track, 'Back’s Against The Wall' in it’s entirety. Shortino also discussed his decision to leave Rough Cutt in 1987 for an ill fated venture as the vocalist for Quiet Riot.
Paul Shortino: “I probably should have just stayed at home with the boys in Rough Cutt. I left a band and went into the business. But we made a good album and I am very proud of my time there.”
