SCRAP METAL Adds RATT, FIREHOUSE Singers

According to eMediaWire, Singers C.J. Snare of FIREHOUSE and Stephen Pearcy of RATT are the latest additions to the SCRAP METAL supergroup, which also features Mark Slaughter (SLAUGHTER), Kelly Keagy (NIGHT RANGER) and Gunnar and Matthew Nelson (NELSON). The band are scheduled to perform at the 2007 Tin Pan South Songwriters Festival in Nashville. This is Scrap Metal's second appearance at Tin Pan South, the fundraiser for the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI).

"With Scrap Metal, you're looking at a group of singer/songwriters who at the very least are bringing in four songs each that have all been in the top five of the Billboard Top 100," enthuses Scrap Metal founder Gunnar Nelson, "We're excited to return to Tin Pan South with Eric Martin and special guests C.J. Tin Pan South is America's largest music festival dedicated to songs and songwriters. Produced by the Nashville Songwriters Association International, the festival is a legislative fundraiser in support of NSAI's efforts in Congress. Each spring, hundreds of songwriters perform over 100 shows. For five days and nights the festival encompasses Nashville venues, elevating songwriters and the contribution they make to Music City and to the world of music.
