A week ago, reunited famed Norwegian black metallers IMMORTAL played Oslo, as the headliner of second day of the annual Inferno festival. It was their first live appearance since disbanding almost four years ago, after the abruptly canceled US tour in support of Rob Halford. Through management, the band has issued a brief recap of the event. "The band actually played really well, and spirits are good. I don't think the band has functioned better than this since Horgh (drums) first joined, before Blizzard Beasts. The crowd was fantastic, and as a first show, (we're) really happy with it. It gave us a rundown of which areas to improve upon."

The complete setlist was as follows: Intro, 'Withstand The Fall Of Time', 'Solarfall', 'Sons Of Northern Darkness', 'Tyrants', 'One By One', 'Wrath From Above', 'Mountains', 'Unholy Forces Of Evil', 'Unsilent Storms', 'The Sun No Longer Rises', 'At The Heart Of Winter', 'Battles In The North', 'Blashyrkh'.

Immortal's upcoming live dates featuring Abbath, Horgh, and new bass player Apollyon from AURA NOIR are as follows:

June

22-24 - Hellfest - Clisson, France

29 - July 1 - Tuska Fest - Helsinki, Finland
