DEATH BREATH, the Swedish old-school death metal project featuring former ENTOMBED drummer and main songwriter Nicke Andersson (currently the frontman of his rock 'n' roll band THE HELLACOPTERS), have issued the following:

"Now that Let It Stink is out we are working on our next album. We are thinking of recording it sometime this winter. This is the record on which we are we going to use triggered drums and write lyrics about philosophical stuff… Well, let’s hope we don’t do that shall we?

People are asking us about tours and gigs. As soon as we have the dates we´ll post them here so now you know where to look.

Also, a new T-shirt design is on its way so look at the Stuff section from time to time.

Death Breath's new mini-album, Let It Stink, will be available on August 7th in North America via Relapse. The mini-album is currently out in Europe.

As previously reported, Andersson, guitarist/vocalist Robert Pehrsson and bassist Scott Carlson (REPULSION) produced four brand new songs as well as three covers by heroes BATHORY ('Sacrifice'), G.B.H. ('Lycantrophy') and DISCHARGE ('Maimed And Slaughtered'). The CD version of Let It Stink will contain a brand new version of our video for the song 'Death Breath' as well as the original one. The vinyl version will be "10 pitch-black inches".

Produced at Acetone Studios, this album "will place the band among the classic death metal acts such as AUTOPSY, DEATH and MORBID ANGEL," according to a press release.
