AFTER FOREVER Guitarist SANDER GOMMANS - "EUROPE Is The Reason I Got Interested In Music; They Influenced Me A Lot"

AFTER FOREVER guitarist Sander Gommans has issued the following update:
"Hello,Just to give you a little update, I'm doing a little bit better again, I'm working on After Forever behind-the-scenes and will try to complete and finish my project HDK with Amanda Somerville the upcoming weeks. Obviously, I will do that in my own tempo and will not try to rush things, so that I'll be able to fully recover for the gigs. Unfortuantely, playing live is still not possible now, keep you updated about that!
Tomorrow will be a big day for me, I have backstage access to a EUROPE gig (at the Arrow Classic Rock Festival), and despite the fact you'll not really be hearing that in Ater Forever and HDK, Europe is one of my favorite bands and influenced me a lot!!! Europe is the reason I got interested in music, and has a great nostalgic value for me (people who know me, know that I'm extremely nostalgic:-)). I can't wait to see them and to be able to take some pics!(if that'll work out, because I'm also pretty shy ;-))
Anyway, I'll post my experience here after tomorrow, I think I'm going to play 'The Final Countdown' record again for the 1234789th time.
