hot flashes news failing flesh project

PROJECT: FAILING FLESH co-founder Tim Gutierrez is the latest subject in Revelationz Magazine's 21 Questions feature. The following is a brief excerpt:

Q: Was there ever a time when you wondered if your band would remain just a local outfit and never make it in the industry?

TG: "That was never much of a concern. The main priority was to do the best music we possibly could and have fun doing it. That is still in effect really. Everything that follows is just a bonus."

Q: How would you categorize the style of the band? And did you ever consider or try playing other styles of music than the one(s) you are playing now?

TG: "Outside of the box, extreme metal with some experimentation is a good vague description I guess. Yeah, we have played other styles of music. We are big fans of all different sorts of stuff so we explore that as well. To just do one thing would be kind of limiting. But within P:FF we try to keep it heavy and dark for the most part. Though we allow ourselves to bring in any influence that we feel fits the band."

As previously reported P:FF, featuring E-FORCE/ex-VOIVOD frontman Eric Forrest, have uploaded two songs from their new album, The Conjoined, on their official MySpace page for streaming. Go to this location to check them out.
