LocoFest: Locobazooka! 2007 (www.locobazooka.com) is scheduled for September 9th at the Tweeter Center in Mansfield, MA.
Organizers have issued the following update:
"SHADOWS FALL, ADEMA, GODHEAD and many more bands have just been added to the line up of LocoFest: Locobazooka! 2007. New England’s largest and longest running music festival, LocoFest will take place on September 9th at the Tweeter Center in Mansfield, MA. HEAVEN AND HELL, featuring Ronnie James Dio and members of BLACK SABBATH - Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Vinny Appice, will headline the festival along with special guests ALICE COOPER and QUEENSRŸCHE.
Known as one of the driving forces behind the new wave of American heavy metal, Springfield, MA natives Shadows Fall return to this year’s Loco after their triumphant debut at the 2005 festival. Also returning to the festival are industrial rockers Godhead, who were forced to call off their 2001 Loco performance when their flight was canceled due to the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Making their first appearance at the festival are SoCal metal mainstays Adema who come to Loco with a new lead vocalist and a new album due out in August.
“With this year’s LocoFest line-up, we’re bridging all the generation gaps,” noted 3-D Entertainment’s President and owner of the festival Dan Hartwell. “We have emerging artists like Roadsteamer and Bang Camaro, new rock stars like Shadows Fall and Adema, and classic rock idols like Heaven and Hell and Alice Cooper all at one festival. Whether you’re 25 or 55, there’s something for everyone at this year’s Loco.”More bands are being added to LocoFest: Locobazooka! 2007 every day!
