hot flashes news ep thunder

UK rockers THUNDER have issued the following update:

"Yes peeps, I've been told today that the band have finished recording and mixing a new batch of songs. Originally intended to go on the next studio LP, it was felt that it had been a while since they released any new music, and a great many fans have been experiencing withdrawal symptoms, so.... Six Of One is the title of the new EP, and it will be released.... erm... soon. Actually we're waiting for confirmation from the factory but we'll announce it as soon as we know. In the meantime, we thought you might want to know what's on it etc. Tracklisting is: 'Chain Reaction', 'Yesterday's News', 'Midlife Crisis', 'Dirty Dream' (Live), 'What A Beautiful Day' (Live), 'A Million Faces' (Live).

Produced by Luke (Morley - guitar), with Ben (Matthews - guitar/keyboards) engineering and mixing it all, tracks 1, 2 and 3 are brand spanking new and therefore previously unreleased. Tracks 4, 5 and 6 were recorded live at The Glasgow Academy during last November's tour.

The three new songs were recorded at Intimate Studios & Chez Bez in London Town, in between festival appearances this summer. Chris (Childs - bass) has taken up his mighty pen and ink and come up with some eggciting and quite surreal artwork.

As appears to be the fashion these days, the EP will be a limited edition release, with only 3000 copies being manufactured, though there will be another EP (same format - 3 brand new and 3 live) release in early 2008, so both become part of a fab set. Indeed work on the next EP has already begun, with recording recently having taken place in a castle in the wilds of the west country (spooky). It would appear that Mr Morley has songs popping out all over the place at the moment...

Release date and other info will be here as soon as I know it."
