MERCENARY Recording New Album, Studio Update Available

Denmark's MERCENARY have issued the following update:
"This weekend Mercenary entered Jacob Hansen's studio in Ribe to record the followup to The Hours That Remain. The following week drums and guitars will be recorded, after which keyboards, vocals and bass will be tracked. Follow the progress on Mercenary's MySpace blog. Danish readers can also check out a studio diary on Gaffa.dk later on.The album is set for a late March 2008 release."
The following is the studio report:
"This is it....all the new songs are finished and we have started the the recording of the new album. Right now Martin, Jakob and myself (Mike) are in Hansen Studio trying to create what should hopefully be a decent album. Drums for one song is already down and it´s a fast one.....real heavy. I´m doing the drums in one studio while Martin and Jakob are tracking guitars in another room so we´re able to work in shifts 24 hours a day. Well, I guess that´s it for now. More later as the album progresses..."
