Tennessean.com is reporting:
Tune in to CMT tomorrow (November 29th) to see the world premiere of ALISON KRAUSS and ROBERT PLANT’s video for 'Gone, Gone, Gone (Done Moved On)', the first single off the duo’s gold-selling joint project Raising Sand.
Plant, Krauss and producer T Bone Burnett recently completed work on the music video, which was shot in Nashville and adds a raucous element to the Everly Brothers song, with scenes bouncing between shimmering mylar glitz and a performance stage reminiscent of a vintage Technicolor movie. Directed by Rocky Schenck, the video will have a premier on VH1 Dec. 3 and will enter regular rotation on both networks.
Raising Sand is considered a surprise hit of the season. Following a No. 2 debut on the Billboard 200 four weeks ago, it remains within the top 25 on the chart, and stands as the highest-charting and fastest-selling album in the history of issuing label Rounder Records.
Krauss, Plant and Burnett, along with the musicians featured on Raising Sand, will tour extensively throughout Europe and The US starting in April. In addition to the Raising Sand material, they’ll perform songs from their catalogs — including 'When The Levee Breaks' and 'Black Dog' according to Rolling Stone.
