STORMWARRIOR - Heading Northe North American Release Date Confirmed

Locomotive Records will release Heading Northe by STORMWARRIOR on April 22. An excerpt from a press release reads as follows:
Hailing from Northern Germany, these five eclectic and talented metal musicians have carved out their own niche combining trad-metal trueness with Nordic lyric mythology. Obviously inspired by the great heavy metal bands of the 1980s, with a passion and a reverence of those who walked in their shoes before them, Stormwarrior arguably improves upon the original premise of fellow Hamburg band RUNNING WILD.
Band founder Ramcke knew from the getgo he wanted superproducer Kai Hansen at the helm. Hansen wound up not only producing Stormwarrior’s 2002 self-titled debut in his Hansen Studios but helped compose, played guitar and even sang backing vocals. Then, in support of Stormwarrior’s 2003 follow-up, Northern Rage, Hansen took them out on the road to open for his band GAMMA RAY. Last year, the association with Hansen proved even more fruitful when, in front of 20,000 headbanging metalheads at the prestigious Wacken Open Air Euro Fest, Lars and the boys got the chance to pay tribute (with Hansen) to the mighty HELLOWEEN, their greatest influence.
