MOONSPELL - Former THE GATHERING Singer Anneke van Giersbergen Unable To Join Band For Rock In Rio Performance

Rock in Rio 2008 continues June 5th and 6th in Lisboa, Portugal.
MOONSPELL offer the following statement from former THE GATHERING singer Anneke van Giersbergen (who now fronts AGUA DE ANNIQUE):
"I am sorry to say I cannot make it to the beautiful Rock In Rio festival to join Moonspell for their concert.When I was driving home from a show in Amsterdam last night, the flu treated me to a surprise attack and I became quite ill. I was looking forward immensely to our get together and to visit fabulous Portugal and I will follow Moonspell's successful gig from here.
