Shockwave Skull Sessions Launches Debut Podcast

Bob Nalbandian, the host of the acclaimed Shockwaves/Hardradio Podcast (available on HardRadio.com) has just launched a brand new series of podcasts called the Shockwaves Skull Sessions. The podcast will be devoted to discussions and debates revolving around various topics in heavy metal music. Nalbandian states, "I've had such great success with the discussion and debate-style Shockwaves/HardRadio podcasts, particularly the recent JUDAS PRIEST debate episode and the Early METALLICA episode, that I've decided to devote an entire series to this podcast format."
The first episode has just been posted and features a great debate on the DEEP PURPLE catalog featuring Monte Conner (Roadrunner Records A&R;) and Martin Popoff (BW&BK;'s Editor In Chief/book author), where they discuss legendary British rock band Deep Purple’s extensive career and examine the band’s forty-year plus career. This exclusive three-way conversation was recorded in May 2008. Future podcasts will be posted weekly. Nalbandian will continue the Shockwaves/HardRadio podcasts on HardRadio.com which will be devoted to artist interviews and indie metal music episodes.
