As previously reported, X Japan have postponed their scheduled upcoming shows in Partis, New York and Taipei. BW&BK; received the following update:

"As for indefinite postponement of X Japan's world tour, it wasn't actually announced officially by (drummer/founder)Yoshiki. It was several major newspapers that were reporting, but the band's management is not denying it. According to the report, the reason for postponement is Yoshiki's cervical disc herniation and tendovaginitis. Right now his neck is fixed with a corset and he is unable to travel long distances. He is being seen by Western/Eastern medical doctors."

Deyama comments: "X has always been about dealing with troubles and it's not as big of a deal as reported. Not a big deal. When we go on tour is up to mangement's decision. I'll just try to keep myself in perfect condition."

Dates affected are as follows:

July

5 - Paris, France - Villepinte Parc D'exposition

August

2 - Taipei, Taiwan - Taipei World Trade Center

September

13 - New York City, NY - Madison Square Garden
