CARCASS - New York City Show Announced

The reunited CARCASS will play New York City, NY at the Nokia Theatre on Saturday, September 6th. SUFFOCATION has been confirmed as support. More US dates will be announced soon.
As previously reported, Rockpages.gr has issued an interview that they conducted with CARCASS' Jeff Walker, where they discuss the band's back-catalogue reissues and the possibility of a new record. An excerpt follows:
Rockpages.gr: If Carcass recorded a new album now, can you imagine how would it sound? After all these years?
Jeff: "What’s really funny is when we rehearsed in Sweden, Bill was showing Mike some Carcass riffs that never got recorded, so maybe it would sound like old Carcass."
Rockpages.gr: I thought that, since all three of you are into rock music, you know, FIREBIRD, SPIRITUAL BEGGARS, and you did the Welcome To Carcass Cuntry album, maybe it would be some kind of death ‘n’ roll?
Jeff: "Well, I don’t think so, I think it would be pretty intense and brutal, because we have that side to us, we also have the Carcass side. As I just said, Bill has riffs that we never used so… but that’s why we would never do an album, because we’re just old guys, you know? (laughs)"
