Just last week CANNIBAL CORPSE bassist and founding member Alex Webster chatted with the good folks over at MTV.com’s Headbangers Blog for an exclusive podcast. In it Webster talks about the bands upcoming album (out in 2009), the band’s seven-plus hour DVD set Centuries of Torment (which came out July 8) and the recent reconciliation with former vocalist Chris Barnes. Webster also discussed the seeming normalcy of serial killers, America’s obsession with the macabre, the return of genuinely unnerving movies, the horrors of digital technology, the new generation of gore-grind and more.
