EXMORTEM - "There Is More To Death Than Hobbits And Trolls"
October 9, 2008, 16 years ago
Metal Revolution Webzine has issued an interview with EXMORTEM. The following is an excerpt:
Q: I guess there is no reason to introduce your band Exmortem. I assume that we all know who you are. But for those who don’t know you, could you introduce the band shortly?
A: "To make it short, it all began about 15 years ago. Since then we have released 5 full-length albums (number six coming this month) and a bunch of other releases. Played live in most European countries with numerous bands from all around the globe. We have always continued to develop our style, and I can honestly say that we are one of the few older bands that continue to become better and stronger with each release. Our new album being no exception, this is by far our strongest offering to date!"
Q: You started your music carrier back in 1992, but at that time you call yourself Mordor. Now you call yourself Exmortem. Can you tell us why you had change the name?
A: "Because Mordor was taken from a fairytale and there is more to death than hobbits and trolls."
