LED ZEPPELIN's Jimmy Page, PINK FLOYD's David Gilmour To Perform At Opening Ceremony Of 2012 Olympic Games?

THE ROLLING STONES have reportedly been booked out to perform at the opening ceremony of 2012 Olympic games and the band's singer Mick Jagger wants to be joined on stage by DAVID BOWIE and ELTON JOHN, according to OK! Magazine. "Mick feels the Olympics coming to London is a huge honor - and wants to make his own gesture with the band," a source tells the publication.
Other big musicians who may perform at the upcoming event include PHIL COLLINS, STING, VAN MORRISON, PINK FLOYD's David Gilmour, and LED ZEPPELIN's guitarist Jimmy Page. The source explains, "It's early stages but Page, Bowie, and Morrison are already involved, although no one is quite sure yet how the show will play out in its entirety."
