AC/DC - Rare "Can I Sit Next To You, Girl" 7" Single Fetches $4,471 USD

ACDCCollector.com is reporting that a copy of AC/DC's rarest 7" (45 RPM) single (featuring original singer Dave Evans on vocals) just sold on eBay for a whopping $4,471 USD.

The New Zealand-only Polydor label pressing of "Can I Sit Next To You, Girl" b/w "Rockin' In The Parlour" fetched this new record price on the auction site eBay on July 23rd. The obscurity of this single makes it one of the most sought after AC/DC records for collectors.

"Can I Sit Next To You, Girl" was originally released in 1974 via Albert Productions (EMI Australia). The track was later re-recorded with Bon Scott on vocals and was included on the band's TNT album.
