AC/DC’s Angus Young Watches Fan Roger Federer At French Open

Roger Federer rolled into the French Open third round watched by veteran AC/DC rocker Angus Young on Wednesday.

According to Yahoo! Sports, Young, the schoolboy-uniform wearing lead guitarist with the veteran rock group was in the stands on Court Suzanne Lenglen to see Federer sweep past Marcel Granollers into the third round.

Video soon emerged on the internet showing a 19-year-old Federer attending an AC/DC concert in Geneva in 2001. It was back in the days when Federer had long hair tied in a ponytail with the 19-year-old still two years away from winning the first of his 17 majors.

"I have seen them twice in concert. Once when I was 15 and I even met Angus," said Federer after the match. "I still had long hair at the time. I don't know if he remembers. It is a real pleasure to see him here."
