ACEY SLADE Launches PledgeMusic Campaign For New Solo Album

Perhaps best known for the theatrics of horror punk supergroup The Murderdolls, Acey Slade has a busy tour season ahead as bassist for Joan Jett & The Blackhearts. However, the rock veteran is clearing enough space in the schedule for an exciting new solo LP - his first album of new material in years - and he’s partnering with some of the industry’s finest players and engineers to make it happen. Join Acey in the studio or even serve as executive producer through his new PledgeMusic Campaign.

"Acey here. Around the new year of 2015 it occurred to me that it had been a very long time since I had put out any of my own original music. It also occurred to me that if this was going to happen anytime soon I had better start working on it now, as I had a very busy year of tour ahead of me with Joan Jett and the Blackhearts. So I set out to record an EP on my lap top with no real expectations.

Then I met my studio engineer Tom Camuso who had Aerosmith and Lenny Kravitz original Neve recoding console, and he wanted to work on this project. Then Frank Ferrer of Guns N' Roses and also Kriz from Dead Star Assembly got involved on drums. Then Christian Martucci of Stone Sour and Dee Dee Ramones band got involved. Then Kato Khandwala who mixed the last Pretty Reckless and Blondie albums came on board.

You see People are what brings music to life.

That’s why I’m teaming up with pledge music in an attempt to give you not just the experience of having a physical copy of the CD in your hands, but a whole new way of getting lost in the music in the making of my new album, and also a way that we could turn my crappy little computer EP to full blown Punk n Roll album!

Theres a lot of cool album exclusive that have never been available to us music fans before.

Each time I’m in the studio I’ll invite you in to the studio with me when give my Pledge exclusive studio reports. You’ll get behind the scenes/making of and even some stories behind the songs every week up till we release the album.

You will be able to pick the format. Digital download only, CD, Vinyl, Book version or an album exclusive T-shirt hand screen printed by me, here in NYC.

Other options include your name in thank you list, the original hand written lyrics to each song on the album, the bass I played on tour with the Blackhearts and also on the album, exclusive signed and numbered photos, coffee and a studio tour with me on a day I record as well as the standard things like being the first to get the digital download of the album and all the studio exclusives.

You’ll be involved in the recording of the music, you’ll be involved in the packaging of the music and your also being involved in taking the power away from major labels and giving the power back to the fans and the artists! Proving that People bring music to life."
