Firefighter Todd Pendleton has climbed Mt. Everest to raise funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. So far, Todd has raised an incredible $18,980 out of his $25,000 goal for the society.

Here's what Todd had to say on his Facebook page after reaching the summit: "It's hard to put into words how difficult the journey has been. Death was palpable every time we put our crampons on. You had to focus on what you were doing, not what could happen, but it was always in the back of your mind. I haven't been able to put into words what happened on summit day yet, but it tested my soul. It was terrifying and beautiful. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone though."

What does this have to do with ALICE COOPER you might ask? Well, Todd climbed the worlds tallest peak with not only camping and climbing equipment, food, and cold weather gear... He carried with him a Fender guitar signed by Alice Cooper! Todd plans to auction the guitar to raise more funds for his cause!

Here's an excerpt from Todd's fund raising page: "For the past four years I have had the opportunity to guide Team In Training/LLS participants through the Grand Canyon and Zion. Through these adventures, I have made many relationships with supporters, family members, and survivors. I have been truly inspired by their stories of triumph. Their stories all have one common goal: Beating Cancer! When asked to be a part of an expedition to Everest, I immediately thought of raising money for LLS. Please join me in my Climb For The Cure where we will raise money and awareness for LLS and the many people battling blood cancers!"
