Nita Strauss, guitarist for Alice Cooper and formerly for The Iron Maidens, held a clinic in Bogota, Colombia at Audiomusica on September 11th. She kicked off the workshop with Iron Maiden's classic "Aces High"; video is available below.
Strauss recently joined Toronto rocker Danko Jones on his official podcast to talk about Marty Friedman, That Metal Show, Bob Ezrin, Ralph Macchio, Steve Vai and Crossroads, Jermaine Jackson, Glen Sobel, The L.A. Kiss, Paul Stanley and, of course, Alice Cooper.
Back on April 24th, Strauss held a clinic at Cosmo Music north of Toronto in Richmond Hill. In the clip below she discusses her growth as a guitarist, joining The Iron Maidens, and working with the shock rock legend:
