ALTER BRIDGE - The Last Hero Lands In Billboard Top 10

Alter Bridge continues to demonstrate their ability to push their career to new milestones. Their newest release, The Last Hero, marks a return to the Top 10 on the Billboard charts for the band in the United States; their first since their debut release, 2004’s One Day Remains. The band landed at #8 this week on the Billboard 200 with over 27,800 units consumed via sales and streaming.

The Last Hero topped charts around the globe as well landing at #6 in Australia, #5 in Germany, #8 in Italy, #2 in Scotland, and #3 in the United Kingdom. The album is available at all physical and digital retailers via Caroline in North America and Napalm Records throughout the rest of the world. The Last Hero was produced by longtime friend and collaborator Michael “Elvis” Baskette (Slash, Tremonti, Trivium) and mastered by Grammy award winner Ted Jensen.

The first single from The Last Hero is the politically-charged rocker “Show Me A Leader”. The official video for the single was released last month and has been viewed over 750,000 times since it was released.

From the first notes of album opener “Show Me A Leader” to the final notes of the epic title track “The Last Hero,” it is clear that Alter Bridge are back with their most complete musical work to date. While exploring musical influences and styles from throughout the band’s twelve-year history, The Last Hero has a unifying thread starting with the idea of timeless heroism. Songs like “Poison In Your Veins” and “Losing Patience” capture the signature sound that have recruited Alter Bridge fans around the world. The band also explores their softer side with the heartfelt rocker “My Champion” and the emotional ballad “You Will Be Remembered.”
