AMORPHIS Premier Official Lyric Video For New Song "The Bee"

Amorphis are about to unleash their latest offering, Queen Of Time, on May 18th via Nuclear Blast. A first taster of the band's 13th studio album, a lyric video for the album opener "The Bee", can be found below.

Guitarist Esa Holopainen commented: "This song is a very powerful opener and gives a nice picture of what the whole album is all about. You can already hear some new elements like choirs and orchestral arrangements in it."

Vocalist Tomi Joutsen added: "Of course, the lyrical inspiration is a bee, also in a metaphoric way. The tiniest thing can sometimes be the most important thing. A bee can bring life or if we destroy all the bees, life will stop here. It's a very beautiful animal, that's why you can find it on the album cover too. The track itself is a kind of progressive and I'm sure that it will surprise some fans in a positive way. We love it!"

In addition, the album is available for pre-order in various formats, here. Pre-order digitally to receive "The Bee" instantly.

Queen Of Time tracklisting:

Amorphis will return to North America for a co-headlining trek with Dark Tranquillity this September/October. Joining them are Portugal's premiere gothic-metallic-force Moonspell, and Finnish melo-death contingent Omnium Gadtherum.

Guitarist Esa Holopainen commented: "We are extremely excited to start the world tour with new album from North America. There’s been lot of requests to hit the States again after our last tour spring 2017. This time we come over with a killer package. Touring with Dark Tranquillity, Moonspell and Omnium Gatherum is almost like having a road trip with best mates around. Every band has a strong fanbase so there will be something for everyone."
