Acoustic dark rockers ANCIENT VVISDOM have confirmed a two-week tour alongside ROYAL THUNDER, which will directly follow their trek supporting Enslaved on the upcoming Winter Rite tour. Throughout both tours, the band will also perform acoustically at select record stores along the tour trail. More in-store performances will be announced shortly.

Ancient VVisdom's new album Deathlike is scheduled for release on February 4th in the UK, February 5th in North America, and February 8th throughout Europe, via Prosthetic Records. The album, was once again mixed and mastered by engineer/co-producer Jason Buntz (JET, THE DARKNESS, …TRAIL OF DEAD), along with partner and Enormous Door founder Jack Control whilst being recorded at Diamond Factory Studios in Austin, TX.

The band have released 'Deathlike', the title track from the album, digitally through iTunes and Amazon MP3. The song has been described by vocalist Nathan Opposition as "a way of life, an ongoing war in the human mind conquering fear over death. It asks the question each human being must ask themselves - an effort to find life on earth."

Ancient VVisdom last toured the US alongside GHOST and have also played shows with SWANS, WINO and SCOTT KELLY in addition to appearing at SXSW, where they performed alongside EYEHATEGOD and PENTAGRAM. The band has also played such prominent overseas festivals as Roadburn and Inferno and has even performed live on BBC Radio 1.
