Germany/Austria/Switzerland/Finland: Friday, January 16th

UK/Benelux/France/Greece/Denmark/Portugal/Norway/Rest of Europe: Monday, January 19th

Italy/Spain/Poland: Tuesday, January 20th

Sweden: Wednesday, January 21st

Australia/New Zealand: Friday, January 23rd

The band is debuting a lyric video for the track “Architects”, which can be seen below.

Guillermo Izquierdo (vocals/guitars) checked in to comment as follows about the track: “Ever since I was a kid I've been fascinated by astronomy, the universe, the planets and the origin of life. I've always considered myself very interested in the UFO phenomenon and everything involving aliens and extraterrestrial forms of life. Since we started working on this song I had the feeling that I wanted to speak about that, emphasizing the "conspiranoid" elements that consider that human life could be the result of much older civilizations that lived on planet earth way before us."

The same creative staff that worked on the band's previous two studio recordings, Clockwork (2010) and The Call (2012), has teamed up with them again for this new effort. Hidden Evolution was once again recorded in Moita, Portugal at Ultrasound Studio with producer Daniel Cardoso (Anneke Van Giersbergen, Anathema, etc.).

The song “Speed Of Light” will feature a lead guitar guest appearance by Chris Amott (Armageddon, ex Arch Enemy).

Hidden Evolution will be released as special edition CD with an O-card packaging in its initial pressing, featuring a cover version of Deep Purple’s “Highway Star” as bonus. The 180gr. vinyl LP version will come with the entire album on CD as bonus and is available on black wax, but also as limited coloured editions in white (100x copies, via CM Distro USA) and light blue (200x copies, via CM Distro Europe). European pre-orders will start next week.

The artwork for Hidden Evolution was handled by Gyula Havancsák / Hjules.com, who has also decorated album sleeves for bands such as Annihilator, Destruction, Stratovarius, Grave Digger and Nightingale.

Hidden Evolution tracklisting:

"Immortal"
"First World Of Terror"
"Architects"
"Tug Of War"
"Serpents On Parade"
"Wanderers Forever"
"End Man"
"Speed Of Light"
"I Owe You Nothing"
"Hidden Evolution"

Check out the new video, for the album track "End Man", directed by Adriana Lorente and Sara Cort, below.

Says the band: "Behind the meaning of "End Man" lies the desperation of someone who has reached the limit, on the verge of exploding. Going though certain tough situations in life creates inner demons that sometimes show when least expected. That feeling of stressing intensity is present during the whole song, only letting loose when choruses appear. Adriana and Sara have once again done an amazing work adapting the concept of the song to a video by melting the meaning of this track to the inner general concept of the album and its artwork, based around the astronaut (see here) with such an amazing and super detailed result"
