ARCH ENEMY - Live Drum Cam Footage Of "War Eternal" From Frankfurt Show Posted

The clip below features Arch Enemy drummer Daniel Erlandsson playing the title track from the band's latest album, War Eternal, at Jahrhunderthalle Frankfurt, Germany while on tour with Nightwish and Amorphis in December 2015.
Arch Enemy guitarist Michael Amott spoke with SiriusXM on-air host Jose Mangin for Dean Guitars at this year's NAMM show in Anaheim, CA.
Talking about Arch Enemy’s upcoming plans, Amott states: “We're kind of slowing down a bit. We just put out a new album in 2014 called War Eternal, and it did very, very well for us all over the world, and we just completed a 300-date world tour. So 300 shows is a lot, and we're kind of feeling… we're slowing down a little bit now. We're kind of gonna take a bit of a break and, yeah, just write some new music.”

Arch Enemy vocalist Alissa White-Gluz recently spoke with Bravewords scribe Carl Begai. They discussed a host of topics, including the subject of clean singing being introduced to the Arch Enemy sound. It has been brought up repeatedly because of Alissa’s ability to pull off growls and clean vocals with ease, which was her trademark during her days with The Agonist. She reveals there’s no guarantee it will show up on the band’s next album, but there’s nothing to say it won’t.
“Every time the idea of clean singing in Arch Enemy comes up Angela (Gossow / manager), Michael (Amott / guitars) and everyone loves the idea. I love doing clean singing, which is one of the main things that drives me back to Kamelot all the time. It’s fun for me, and I love singing Arch Enemy stuff without clean singing but I think it would be cool to introduce it. It’s just a matter of if it feels right. I think we’re all waiting for the time when we get that feeling because none of us are against it, but we’re against forcing it into the music for the sake of ‘Look what I can do…’ Daniel (Erlandsson / drums) plays guitar really well and plays different styles of drumming, Jeff (Loomis / guitars) sings really well, so we all have many talents but we don’t have to use all of them in every song all the time. That being said, if there’s an opportunity to use clean vocals we’ll probably do it.”
