AREA51 - Vocal Recordings For New Album Complete

According toYoichiro Ishino, guitarist and mastermind behind Japan's Area51, vocalist Kate Cain has completed recording her parts for the band's next album, calling it "the best performance filled with expressions and emotions. The vocal approach is powerful, punchy yet elegant, and it's just amazing. I'm even more excited about recording remaining songs!"
Ishino recently checked in with the following update: "It's official at last! Area51 is recording the latest album with Dirk Verbeuren (drums/Soilwork), Mike LePond (bass/Symphony X) and Matt Guillory (keyboards solos/James LaBrie). I'm super excited about working with all these great musicians. Dirk already finished the drum parts that are filled with awesome technique, power and groove. Matt just recorded some KILLER solos! He will be shredding on more songs, too! Stay tuned for more info!"
Ishino posted a sneak peek of some of the material from the band's forthcoming as-yet-untitled new album in August 2012, which can be heard below. Ishino: "It's not a track from upcoming Nightwish album :-)"
