Attorneys Appear For MÖTLEY CRÜE Singer VINCE NEIL In Misdemeanour Battery Case; Not Guilty Plea Entered

According to Associated Press, attorneys for Vince Neil said Wednesday they're investigating what led to a misdemeanor battery charge accusing the Mötley Crüe frontman of grabbing a woman's hair and pulling her to the ground in April outside a Las Vegas Strip resort.

Neil, 55, didn't appear in court with attorneys David Chesnoff and Richard Schonfeld, who entered a not guilty plea on his behalf.

Outside court, Chesnoff said he needs to complete his investigation and review the evidence before he comments.

"I ask people not to prejudge situations until all the facts come in," he said.

TMZ recently reported that Neil had been charged with misdemeanour battery and could face six months in jail.

Cell phone video posted on the celebrity website shows Cage grabbing Neil around the neck while restraining him and shouting, "Stop this." It does not show the fracas between Neil and the woman.

“Neil claimed he only "pushed past" a female autograph seeker at the Aria... but according to police records, obtained by TMZ, officers reviewed surveillance footage which showed the Mötley Crüe frontman pulling the woman down to the ground by her hair.”
