Autographed Items From San Francisco Giants' METALLICA Day Up For Charity Auction

The San Francisco Giants’ Metallica day has become an annual event and the third was yesterday (May 2nd) where the team faced the Los Angeles Angels. The Giants (who won the game 5-4) even unveiled an all black jersey that was meant to symbolize the band. They have checked in with the following update:
"Check out autographed items from Metallica Day with the San Francisco Giants up for auction. In addition to jerseys and memorabilia signed by the band, the auction now includes jerseys signed by star Giants players AND the members of Metallica. Check out jerseys from Buster Posey, Madison Bumgarner, Tim Lincecum and more. But hurry, the auction ends on Monday, May 11th.All proceeds from these auctions will benefit the Giants Community Fund, Glide and the St. Anthony Foundation."

Metallica’s Facebook Page issued the following update on the day: “We're having a great time down here at AT&T; Park for Metallica Day with the San Francisco Giants! As you may have seen already, James & Kirk performed ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’, Lars threw out the first pitch and Robert called for the players to ‘Play Ball’.”
