AVANTASIA Confirms Exclusive Club Show For Amsterdam

When the Full Metal Cruise, Europe’s biggest heavy metal cruise, arrives in Amsterdam on May 10th, the fans onboard and from land can look forward to a very special concert: AVANTASIA will be playing a three hour show at the Melkweg, one of the most famous locations in the Netherlands. In addition, spontaneous metal fans now have the possibility to reserve a balcony cabin on the Full Metal Cruise for a special flex price.

Tobias Sammet (EDGUY) comments about this concert: “I’m really looking forward to presenting the whole Avantasia show in Amsterdam with our guest artists to a wild horde of sailors on their shore leave. In fact, it will be the first time that we play the Netherlands with Avantasia. So: Anybody who wants to experience a spectacle additionally to the cruise should make sure to get a ticket for a special cruise price. Avantasia will release their new Rock Opera, The Mystery Of Time, on CD and vinyl in March. He has announced the addition of MR. BIG vocalist Eric Martin to the list of guests on the new album. Martin will perform vocals on one of the tracks and is due to hit the stage with Avantasia when they kick off their world tour in April.

Martin joins a big list of guest stars such as: Arjen Lucassen (AYREON), Biff Byford (SAXON), Michael Kiske (UNISONIC, ex-HELLOWEEN), Bruce Kulick (ex-KISS, ex-MEAT LOAF), Russell Gilbrook (URIAH HEEP), Ronnie Atkins (PRETTY MAIDS) the German Film Orchestra Babelsberg. More musicians will be announced soon! In April an all-star ensemble will set off on a world tour, playing three-hour indoor shows on their own plus a few chosen festivals.
