Metal Wani writer Anne Catherine Swallow recently did an interview with German guitar legend Axel Rudi Pell.

During the interview he instantly displayed a great sense of humour and discussed his new album, Game Of Sins, why his inspiration constantly flows, his take on how guitar players are more focused on technical wankery than real songwriting principles, his take on bands using 7 or 8 string guitars and why few bands still seem to be able to handle a (9 string) guitar properly. He also discusses the death of Lemmy Kilmister and his experience with the late Motörhead frontman.
