Bassist Bobby Ferkovich has hit the ground running in 2013. The new year begins with work on his fourth release with Kurdt Vanderhoof’s (METAL CHRUCH) prog-rock outfit PRESTO BALLET. This follow-up to 2012’s Relic of the Modern World will be released later this year with tour dates around the world to follow.
Ferkovich is also back into the studio with POWERTRAIN, (featuring Kendall Bechtel of FIFTH ANGEL on guitar and vocals) on their (as yet untitled) fourth release, the follow-up to last year’s effort Off The Rails.
As if this wasn’t enough, Ferkovich is currently in the studio working with legendary former W.A.S.P. guitarist Randy Piper on his new solo project (release dates and tour dates coming soon) and is also slated to hit the road with world renowned power-vocalist Pamela Moore (QUEENSRŸCHE’s 'Sister Mary') following the release of her highly anticipated upcoming album Resurrect Me.
March will also see Ferkovich in the studio with shred guitar virtuoso Gabriele Palermo (from Germany’s TRAGEDIAN) along with Bobby’s former HEIR APPARENT band mate, drummer Jeffrey McCormack. The project, simply titled M.P.F. is slated for a late 2013 release. No tour plans have been scheduled at press time.
