In the latest edition of legendary Black Sabbath drummer Bill Ward's radio show, Rock 50, he takes a trip down memory lane and plays "some of the artists that pulled us through some of the (turbulent) years."
Black Sabbath are currently on their final tour and will finish up with a string of UK dates in late January/early February next year. Rumors are circulating that Bill Ward might return to the band for the last dates, but that is not the case. A new statement released on Ward’s Facebook page reads:
“We have seen it reported in the news that Bill will be playing with Black Sabbath on The End tour in the UK. This is incorrect, and we wanted to make sure you heard it from us directly: Bill is not playing with Black Sabbath in the UK or on any other dates of The End tour.
“As always, we thank you for all your support and understanding.n Rock forever.”
Ward and his new band called Day Of Errors performed at the Ultimate Jam Night, the long-running weekly free music show held at the famed Whisky A Go Go in Hollywood - check out footage from this past Tuesday below:
Ward recently said in a statement: “In the desire to have my drumming spirit continue to live, I'm pleased to say that I've helped to create a new three-piece band called Day Of Errors, accompanied by two guest musicians playing keyboards and percussion. We play loud, hard, with overtures of gut-kicking heavy, heavy parts.”
Day of Errors lineup is:
Joe Amodea - guitar/vocals
Nick Diltz - bass/lead vocals
Bill Ward - drums/vocals
Guest Musicians:
Walter Earl - percussion
Aron Ward - keyboards
