BLEEDING GODS To Release Shepherd Of Souls Album This Month

Bleeding Gods, the Dutch metal band featuring former and current members of Sinister, Houwitser, Supreme Pain and Deadcell, will release its new album, Shepherd Of Souls, on February 22nd, via Punishment 18 Records.
The band provides a description of the album: “Shepherd Of Souls tells the story about the creation of life as we know it according to the words written in the 'Popol Vuh', which is all about the Mayan population. After several attempts, the god Huracán succeeded in creating mankind.”
Bleeding Gods plays groovy, riffing and shredding metal with some thrash and death influences in it. The sound is inspired by bands like Slayer, old Metallica, Lamb Of God, Black Sabbath, Opeth and Chimaira.
