Well, it probably wasn't too difficult to figure out ... we have major respect for this band and to see their career revitalized in the past few years and truly embrace the metal scene is inspiring to bands/fans all over the globe. And it seems Mr. Mustaine can do no wrong - 2007's United Abominations also was the BW&BK; scribes' top pick of the year! And to top things off, Megadeth will be bringing their new album to European stages next year with their other comrades in the Big Four - METALLICA, SLAYER and ANTHRAX. Mustaine is snarling from ear-to-ear!

So, a BIG CONGRATS to Dave Mustaine (lead vocals, guitar), Shawn Drover (drums, percussion), James Lomenzo (bass, backing vocals) and Chris Broderick (guitar, backing vocals) for delivering the goods in 2009!
