BRIGHTON ROCK Guitarist Greg Fraser Dusts Off BC Rich From "We Came To Rock" Video After 25 Years - "It Still Plays And Sounds Killer"

Brighton Rock guitarist Greg Fraser has issued the following update following a new, high quality posting of the band's "We Came To Rock" video from 1987 on YouTube earlier this week:

"Every once in a while I get asked 'Whatever happened to that BC Rich guitar you used in the 'We Came To Rock' vid?' That was my primary guitar for the whole first BR tour. When we went in to do our second CD I got a Lado guitar endorsement and I then retired the BC Rich. It's been basically just sitting in a case for the past 25 years. I bought it in 1985 (serial #0053) and it's a little rare because it's a one piece guitar - not a bolt on neck. All the ones in the late '80s are all bolt on necks. Decided to go revisit the old 'Bird and sure enough it still plays and sounds killer."

Decibel Geek recently hosted a Brighton Rock takeover, having posted a new audio interview and hosts Wally "Wallygator" Norton and Rich "The Meister" Dillon sharing their BR fanboy stories:

"For the hour the guys enjoyed some laughs, some beers and most importantly some great Canadian music. Also touched on throughout the show, the formation of Brighton Rock, playing a historic show with Triumph, how they came to be part of Mitch Lafon's KISS tribute album, their interpretation of KISS classic "Creatures Of The Night' and more. They also chime in on Gene Simmon's "rock is dead" quote and of course they discussed the progress on the upcoming and eagerly anticipated new Brighton Rock record that is in the works."

Check out the interview here.

Brighton Rock have uploaded a fan-filmed, two-camera mix of "We Came To Rock" shot live at FireFest 2013. They've followed up with footage of the band performing "Young, Wild And Free" at the festival:
