CANNIBAL CORPSE has been selected for induction in the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame as a member of the Class of 2013.

Cannibal Corpse is the latest addition to the Hall of Fame, which also includes Buffalo natives THE GOO GOO DOLLS, BILLY SHEEHAN, 10,000 MANIACS, and many more. The announcement of the inductees was filmed and can be viewed below:

Founding member and bassist Alex Webster comments on the band's induction: "We are extremely excited to hear about our induction into the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame. We never could've imagined something like this would be possible back when we were getting started at places like the River Rock Cafe or the Skyroom. We are truly honored and humbled by this."

The Buffalo Music Hall of Fame has released the following statement: "The mission statement of the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame is to honor, preserve, and protect the diverse cultural musical heritage of Western New York through education, scholarship, and performance. As the BMHOF celebrates its 30th Anniversary, it is done with pride knowing that every type of music is eligible and honored, from Classical to Polka, from Jazz to Rock, from Composers to Performers, and from Hip Hop to Opera. It fills us with great pleasure to include such a hugely successful band as Cannibal Corpse into the organization. Cannibal Corpse has ably represented the WNY area in performances all over the world."

The Buffalo Music Hall of Fame, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit corporation entity created for the cultural enhancement and enrichment of Buffalo and Western New York through the region's musicians and music history, was established in 1983. Over 260 members have been inducted and represent performers, non-performers, legacy awards, and industry awards - all of which are equal members of the BMHOF.

The Class of 2013 will be inducted into the BMHOF at its 30th Anniversary Induction Gala which will be held October 3rd at the Tralf Music Hall in Buffalo, NY.

Cannibal Corpse released a box set to commemorate their 25th anniversary: Dead Human Collection: 25 Years of Death Metal. The box contains: all 12 full length studio albums in a 12 CD foldout case with new artwork, Torturing and Eviscerating Licw on CD and LP Picture Disc recorded in Tampa, FL 2010 / Milwaukee, WI 2012, plus: new exclusive images by Vince Locke, 12" X 12" graphic prints of all 13 original album covers, and a 2013 Cannibal Corpse Calendar.
