Colombia's REVENGE Forced To Cancel US Tour Due To Conditions Set By Promoter

Although some promoters still have the Colombian thrashers Revenge listed on various bills, singer/guitarist Esteban Mejia sadly confirmed his band will not be able to tour the States, at this time.

"Very sorry, but we won't travel to the USA. One month ago, the promoter for all the dates changed the conditions for the band and told us, 'This is the new conditions, because the band is unknown, no one in the USA wants to see Revenge and no one wants to pay for your show.' We understand the band is unknown, but a lot of people there write us, order merch. I frequently received 4 or 5 emails daily from people asking me about the dates. It is very sad for me and the band. In June 2015, we traveled to Miami for one date, so I hope next year we can go to the USA for a real tour."

Rumor has it the band may be part of 70000 Tons Of Metal, after the cruise organizer Andy Piller visited the Rock al Parque festival in Bogota this summer and personally namechecked Revenge as one of the bands he was researching. Watch for more info about Revenge and the final 70000 Tons line-up at BraveWords.
