COREY TAYLOR Launches Pre-Order For Upcoming Third Book; You’re Making Me Hate You Tour Announced

You're Making Me Hate You: A Cantankerous Look At The Common Misconception That Humans Have Any Common Sense Left, the third book by Slipknot and Stone Sour lead singer Corey Taylor, will be released June 11th in the UK and July 7th in North America. Pre-order at this location.

The new book follows Taylor’s two previous Sunday Times and New York Times bestsellers: Seven Deadly Sins, a memoir exploring his worldview about life as a 'sinner', and A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To Heaven, an unexpected look at the various 'supernatural' encounters he's experienced in his lifetime.

In the tradition of the late, great US comedian George Carlin, You're Making Me Hate You is Corey Taylor at his best: mouthing off in hilarious fashion about the many vagaries of modern life that piss him off. Holding nothing back and delivered in Taylor’s inimitable voice, the book is a cathartic critique of the strange world in which we find ourselves. Whether it’s people’s rude behaviour in restaurants and malls, the many indignities of air travel, people's eye-searingly awful fashion choices, dangerously clueless drivers, and - most of all - the sorry state of much modern music. Taylor’s humour and insight covers civil society’s seeming decline, sparing no one along the way, least of all himself.

Corey is set to sign copies of the book in the UK at this year's Download Festival on Friday, June 12th June, to tie in with Slipknot’s headline performance that evening. Wristbands will be available for purchase at the merchandise stand. These allow you to queue for the signing and you will collect your book at the signing desk.

Taylor will promote the book with a combination of book store events and a solo tour which will be one-of-a-kind shows featuring readings from the book, songs, and audience discussion. Tour pre-sale begins Wednesday, April 29th.
